One of the latest wedding trends in escort cards is to use table "names" instead of table numbers. Brides are using everything from Island names (Bahamas, Paradise Island, etc..), Beach related names (wave, surf, reef, etc..) Seashell names, (sand dollar, starfish, scallop, etc...) 80's band names to Dave Matthews song titles, anything goes. You would direct your guests to their table by having your custom table names on your escort tag, and then place a coordinating table name card on each of your guests tables.

Sample TagsTYPES OF TAGS

We offer 3 types of tags: Escort, Placecards or Favor/Thank you Tags.

Escort Card Tags are rectangular and are printed with your individual guest names and table numbers or table names. They are used at the entrance of your venue and will direct your guests to their table.

Placecards are printed with guests names and are placed at each table setting to let your guests know where they are seated at the table

"Thank You" tags, or favor tags, can be either rectangular or square and are printed with the Bride and Groom's names and wedding date. They are tied on to your wedding favors to add a personal "Thank You".



Our tags come in 3 sizes:

Our Rectangular tags are the perfect size for use as Starfish Escort tags. They can also be used as Thank you tags with either our natural starfish or beach themed favors. They are printed on a cream colored paper that matches the starfish color perfectly, and are double layered with your choice of colored cardstock. You may custom design them any way you like.

Our Shore Chic custom tags and starfish may be purchased seperately, for the DIY bride, or you can let us do the work for you. Shore Chic offers
pre-assembled starfish and tags, ribbon or raffia tied in your choice of colors.

Our Sand Dollar tags are designed a bit larger for use as Escort tags or Placecards. They are printed on an Ivory white paper, which matches the sand dollar color, and are double layered with your choice of colored cardstock. They are custom designed any way you like. They are shown with our Shore Chic Beach Ticking pattern in the bride's color choice using table names instead of numbers.

Our Shore Chic custom tags and sand dollars may be purchased seperately, for the DIY bride, or you can let us do the work for you. Shore Chic offers pre- assembled sand dollars and tags, ribbon tied in your choice of colors.

It is our goal to create custom stationery that you love and reflects who you are as a couple. Please read through all of our policies BEFORE you order. There is a lot of information here but is very important that you understand the process and what is expected from you as a customer. If you have questions about any of these policies, please call us.

Reading and understanding policies is the full responsibility of the customer.
Failure to comply with the terms and conditions (submitting wording, approving proofs, etc.) according to schedule may result in a delay in shipping and/or delivery, which in turn may mean your items will not be shipped in time for your wedding or event. Following the schedule given is the responsibility of the customer.

ORDERING

Please call to order Save the Dates, Escort Cards, Thank you tags, Table cards, Menus, Programs, Seating Charts, or any custom printed materials.

Next, choose your font styles from our font choices page. We can design your stationary by mixing 2 separate fonts and different font colors.

Let us know what your wedding colors are, we can design your font colors and your double layered card stock colors to match.

If you would like an image used, we have a variety of beautiful beach themed images available, Starfish, sanddollar, seashells, palm leaf, anchor, sailboat, surfboard, seahorse, compass, beach ticking stripe, monogram, etc.. we have hundreds of designs available, or you can provide us with your own artwork.

Escort Tags are always one of the last items to be processed, as you must wait until all of your responses are in and your seating chart is finalized before we can print your tags. We recommend that you call ahead to have your escort tags designed first. We will save your approved tag style for you and wait for you're completed guest list via eMail. Once we receive your guest list, allow 1-2 business days for us to create your tag layout and email them for you to approve. After your approval of the entire list we will then print, assemble, process your order and ship them out. This does not include actual shipping time to you.

If you have decided to assemble these yourself, tags and the coordinating Ribbon can by bought seperately.

 OUR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN AND CONSULTING SERVICES COME INCLUDED WITH YOUR ORDER

After your custom order is placed, we will custom design your tag and email you a few sample tags (PDF format) for your approval. We'll try to get you out the first samples within a week. You may reply with changes up to 2 times and once you have chosen the style / design you like best then we will hold that style for when your guest list is prepared (see guidelines below). The cost of products listed here on the website includes the set-up and designing of your materials to be printed, i.e., escort tags, thank you tags, save the dates, seating charts, table cards, etc...

COLORS: Colors can vary from computer monitor to print. We try our best to match colors as close as possible to the colors shown on our screen by testing and reprinting, but it is not always possible. If your order was completed and mailed to you, it is guaranteed to be as close as possible to your requested color, but it is not guaranteed to be perfect. Please understand that 100% color matches are not possible.. Additionally, printed material will never truly match table linens or other fabric- especially not metallics or shiny fabrics.


CANCELLATION:

After your initial proofs are sent, if you decide to cancel the order, a $25.00 set up fee will be charged for each sample provided, menu, escort tag, program, etc...

We also reserve the right to cancel any order at any time if we feel the customer is non-compliant, rude, or disrespectful in any way. There are no refunds for canceled orders.

PROOFS

Once you supply us with your guest list or other content for the materials to be printed, we will reply back to you via eMail with a final proof. This proof will include all of your guest names or content and will look exactly like what will be printed. This way you can see exactly what you're going to get. Please look over your PROOFs carefully to ensure that the information, the guests are at the correct tables and the spelling is without error. Upon your final approval of the proof we will create the product.. After a proof has been approved we are not responsible for misspells or incorrect information so be sure the proof is perfectly acceptable before you approve for printing. For guest tags, seating charts and any printed materials related to your guests involving a list needed for completion of your order:
Once your tag design is completed and approved, you will need to supply us by email a digital version of your guest list.

 
ESCORT/PLACE CARDS If you request more than one name for each card, please note that we reserve the right to alter the text and the design in order to fit everything on the place card. This can include, but is not limited to, smaller text size for large/multiple names, rearranging the design slightly to leave room for the name, and also separating names by spacing them across 2 or more lines of text.
 
When submitting guests names for escort cards, you will need to prepare an excel spreadsheet with two columns - one titled "Name" and the second titled "Table Number". Enter only one entry per row. Please be sure to enter the name exactly as you would like it to appear on the place card. Three rounds of changes are included with your order. Each additional round of changes will be $25, so please be sure your information is correct before sending to avoid design fees.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING YOUR GUEST LIST TO SHORECHIC.COM

Please follows these guidelines when submitting your list. Here are some guidelines to help us move forward with your order in an expedited manner.

Escort Tags are always one of the last items to be processed, as you must wait until all of your responses are in and your seating chart is finalized before we can print your tags. Also we need your approval to print once we get all the names on the tags and email them back to you for final review. We recommend that you call ahead to have your escort tags designed first. How to create your guest list
for us to produce your personalized escort / thank you tags.

The First rules to Remember is that space on the tags is limited! - especially the ones with longer names so:

  • PLEASE DO NOT FORMAT the Text - JUST USE THE DEFAULT TEXT OR ARIAL

  • PLEASE DO NOT USE "and" or "." 

  • USE AMPERSANDS* (the "and" sign "&") - for example USE "Mr & Mrs" instead of "Mr. and Mrs."
    This will save a lot of space so we can use a larger, easier to read FONT and not have to squeeze names

    * There is 1 acception to this rule:   If you'd like, you may use the word "and" in this following case, where there are children with the guests,  however many brides choose to just leave off the "and.":

  • PLEASE! LIST ALL NAMES IN 1 (MS WORD) OR 2 (EXCEL) COLUMN RUNNING STRAIGHT DOWN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE PAGE - DO NOT RUN SEVERAL COLUMNS ACROSS THE PAGE

SETTING UP YOUR GUEST LIST IN EXCEL OR WORD ONLY

EXCEL SPREADSHEET STYLE (preferably) :

You may EMail us your guest list as a 2 column Excel (xls or xlsx) spreadsheet file.
We need the spreadsheet in table order so there are a two ways to approach this:

TABLE ORDER (using 1 column)  with the table name / number above the group of names at each table as a header but that is not required.
ALL NAMES AND TABLE NUMBERS STRAIGHT DOWN THE FIRST TWO COLUMNS - DO NOT CREATE COLUMNS ACROSS THE SPREAD SHEET.

NOTE: As I mentioned above, we need all of your guest names in table order but, Theoretically - YOU can arrange them into alphabetical order to use later when placing them in the sandbox or on the table at the wedding reception. As long as you put the table number/name in the 2nd column we can then arrange them into table number/name order for our use.

ALL NAMES AND TABLE NUMBERS STRAIGHT DOWN THE FIRST TWO COLUMNS - DO NOT CREATE COLUMNS ACROSS THE SPREAD SHEET.

This is a practical way to send the list for both you and us since you will eventually need the list in Alphabetical Order for final placement in the sandbox tray or wherever)

Once we receive your guest list, allow 1-3 business days for us to create your tag layout, email them to you to approve. After your approval of the entire list we will then print, assemble, process your order and ship them out. This does not include actual shipping time to you.

EXPEDITED SERVICE / RUSH ORDERS

There are those times when you just need it right away and in order to do this we must push you ahead of the list of brides waiting for their order fullfillment. There is a RUSH CHARGE of no less then $25 for each item you order which needs expedited service.

100% payment is due before printing and assembling begins.

Shipping

We will do our best to ensure proper delivery and receipt of your important wedding stationery. We treat every order as if it is for our own wedding. We take extra precautions to make sure your items are packaged appropriately to prevent as much damage as possible. We cannot control what happens with the package once it leaves our hands. Once the package is shipped, it becomes the responsibility of the carrier. Before contacting us about your shipment, please use the tracking number provided to locate your package. Tracking information is completely out of our control.

Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the customized products sold here, there are no absolutely refunds or exchanges. In order to avoid this problem each order goes through a revision process and is approved by the customer before production. We are not responsible for any spelling, grammar, or other errors that were previously approved by the customer before production began. We do try our hardest to look for errors, but occasionally things are missed.

We are very careful and check and recheck your order to make sure everything is perfect, but at the end of the day, We are still making your items by hand and errors can occasionally happen.
